Adult Advanced Life Support course will prepare you to respond to life-threatening emergencies both pre-hospital and the hospital setting. This AALS course is based on the latest guidelines which focus on doing several tasks simultaneously with a group. It is a process that enables efficiency and minimization of risk when dealing with patients.
Prior to attending the training day, there will be a 3-hour zoom session dealing with detailed patient assessment, understanding 12 lead, and case scenarios.
This course will teach participants how to perform advanced emergency interventions as per local guidelines. Some topics covered in this course are Basic Life Support, Diabetic-Ketoacidosis, Hyperkalemia, Opioid-Toxicology, Warfarin-Toxicology, Drowning, team Resuscitation, Life-Threatening Issues, Cardiomyopathies, management of peri-arrest situations, management of the acute coronary syndrome ability to communicate with resuscitation teams, appropriate pharmacology, drawing up and giving medications, doing 12 leads, IV access as a team leader.

Infant Child Advanced Life Support course will prepare you to respond to life-threatening emergencies both pre-hospital and the hospital setting. This course is based on the latest guidelines which focus on doing several tasks simultaneously with a group process that enables efficiency and minimization of risk when dealing with infant and child patients as a team leader.
This course will teach participants how to perform advanced emergency interventions. Some topics covered include pediatric respiratory emergencies, sepsis, status epilepticus, the acute abdomen in the newborn, intussusception, the bleeding tonsil, trauma, and the child with burns. Dealing with the grieving family, drawing up, and giving medications.
